"Reindeer's Christmas Surprise" was the first project I worked on at Allen & Unwin, as Children's & YA Book Designer. It was a cover redesign for a picture book that had been published previously in 2014 for David Jones. The brief for the new design requested a more commercial and Christmassy cover, which was achieved through glossy baubles, a mint green background, and vibrant snowflake patterned type.
